Akwaaba (welcome) to Ghana
After a 3-year break, Impact Week is finally returning to Accra. The city is not only the capital of Ghana, but also the administrative, economic, and educational centre of Ghana. Together with Heritage Christian College, we will welcome around 40 local and international professionals as Junior Coaches and approximately 125 local student participants. HCC is a young institute of higher learning, at the heart of which lies entrepreneurship, ethics and philanthropy and global competence.

During the last two days we have conducted the first Design Thinking Bootcamp on-site here in Ghana. We first tested this prototype during the Impact Week Rwanda, 2018. This additional module is a design thinking awareness training helping our Junior Coaches to get familiar with the approach and learn about human-centered design before learning how to coach during in the following Coach Camp.
In only a few days, Impact Week will be landing in Ghana for the first time — We can literally already hear the Kpanlogo Drums! The preparations are at full speed as the Lead Organizers, Senior and Junior Coaches get ready to embark in this journey.

Team Ghana has kicked off the program 🥳 In our Design Thinking Bootcamp, we provide our Junior Coaches with a first awareness training of the creative approach and mindset. But we especially want to make sure that the team grows together and builds a good basis for the intercultural on-site experience. @ Restaurant Crasy Moose
