Who is Caro Foundation?

C.A.R.O means Creating A Reliable Oasis for the kids and youths of Kibera. It is a community organization aiming to turn young girls and boys passion into purpose hence changing their perspective in life having faced rafts of challenges in kibera slums.

What we do?

Education: We create a fun learning culture and support the advancement of education by seeking scholarships, providing a safe space in the library and providing necessary school requirements for the community
Talent nurturing: As an oasis, we take it seriously when it comes to nurturing our kids' talent believing that no one is limited to what they can do
Our actions during the pandemic period: food drive to our beneficiaries and the community at large, community sensitization to help create more awareness on the pandemic prevention, constant supply of water to the community, provision of masks and soap, creating a mental health awareness campaign. We are currently coming up with a consultancy firm to fight the high umemployment. We guide young entrepreneurs with solutions on how to successfully run their business
